Kitchen Council is a food startup incubator designed to lower barriers to market entry for food entrepreneurs. Through shared commercial kitchen space and accelerator programming, Kitchen Council aims to increase the startup success and expand inclusivity into “the new food economy.”

The Hoff Family Arts and Culture Center houses the Incubator Kitchen, a commercial grade kitchen operated by the Kitchen Council. The Incubator Kitchen serves as the preparation center for our café and catered events, as well as a classroom for culinary arts students and an area for food startups.

Celebrate 3.14 the most delicious way possible with a hands-on Pie on Pi Day class all about the magic of crust. In this playful, flour-filled workshop, you will learn how to mix, roll, crimp, and bake a perfectly flaky pie crust from scratch. We will talk butter versus shortening, why cold matters, and how to avoid the dreaded soggy bottom.

Join us for a delicious, interactive, and sweet celebration of Pi Day (3.14)! Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned baker, this hands-on session will walk you through the essentials of crafting the perfect pie from scratch. Roll up your sleeves and join us for a hands-on, foundational class designed to take the fear out of pastry. Our instructors will teach you the secrets of making single and double crust pies.
