American Midwest Ballet
American Midwest Ballet, formerly Ballet Nebraska, will make the Polina and Bob Schlott Performing Arts Center its home. This will allow the company to consolidate its rehearsal, scenic and costume construction, and administrative functions under one roof as the Arts and Culture Center’s resident ballet company. The new name, American Midwest Ballet, reflects the company's stature as a regional asset. American Midwest Ballet looks forward to performing in the Polina and Bob Schlott Performing Arts Center, as well as continuing to perform at the Orpheum Theater, collaborating with Joslyn Art Museum, and working with its community partners including Omaha Performing Arts, Opera Omaha, and Omaha Symphony.
