Bad Art Club is a monthly creative program at PACE that invites artists, non-artists, and everyone in between to create without fear. There are no critiques, no grades, and no pressure to be "good". Just space to explore, express, experiment, and connect with fellow art lovers.
This is a judgment-free zone that celebrates imperfection, weirdness, boldness, and fun. All materials are provided, and each session is guided by a quirky theme or playful art prompt.

Bad Art Club: Origami Flowers with Nancy Lepo

Create a bouquet that never wilts by learning the art of paper flower making. This project begins with simple sheets of colored paper that are cut, shaped, curled, and layered to form petals and leaves. With a little guidance, you will explore different flower styles from delicate blossoms to bold statement blooms, each one crafted entirely by hand.

Re-Mix: Robots, Machines, Screens, AI! invites campers to explore how modern tools and emerging technologies are reshaping the way we create, cook, and communicate. Through hands-on art projects and culinary experiments, campers will investigate robotics, machines, digital media, and artificial intelligence as creative collaborators rather than replacements for human imagination.
Throughout the week, campers will:
Experiment with robot-inspired and machine-made art
Explore screens and digital tools as creative surfaces
Learn how AI influences art, design, and everyday life
Create and taste culinary projects inspired by innovation and technology
Collaborate, problem-solve, and remix ideas across disciplines

Passport to Adventure invites campers to travel the world through art, food, and imagination. Each day, campers will explore a new place or culture through hands-on visual art projects and culinary creations inspired by global traditions, stories, and flavors.
Throughout the week, campers will:
Create art inspired by cultures from around the world
Explore traditional and contemporary artistic techniques
Prepare and sample culinary dishes inspired by global cuisines
Learn how art and food reflect history, geography, and community
Build curiosity, empathy, and creative confidence

Join artist Kathy Fiscus in exploring Composition techniques in a space made for trying fun and new ways to create art. Play with how elements fit together, balance, and interact to make your paintings feel alive and intentional. This isn’t about following rules, it’s about trying new art styles, messing up, and making your work look amazing anyway. Come ready to see the world in a new way and leave with art that’s totally yours.

This class will teach you the basic of pop art and have you feeling like Andy Warhol at the end! We’ll be using bright, bold colors to create a fun contrasting painting. Every painting will be different based on the artists choice of subject, but they will all follow the same pop art painting style.
